I think I'm pretty much done modeling this monkey fellow. Here's how its looking.

Sublime Monkey Progress!

Here's my progress on my monkey model I'm working on for our animated sublime project.

Sublime Image concepts

I have a couple concepts for my sublime image. They both focus on my trademark chock-full-of-caffeine beverage Rockstar Energy Drink (the greatest of all energy drinks in case you're ever in the market to buy an energy drink). It may not seem all that sublime, but when you wake up in the morning, groggy, with a harsh caffeine-withdrawl headache...drinking one of these bad-boys can be quite the sublime experience.

Anyhow, the first one is more of a standing there being sublime picture, mostly a still life, but I removed all the text and smaller details from the can, only extracting 2 of the most prominent graphic elements. I was toying with the idea of having it under a torrent of rain (which you can kind of see me fooling around with in the picture) but I'm not sure about that.



The second one I tried to give more of a caffeinated feel to, with a lot of energy thrown into the line-work and the can forming the top half of an exclamation point. I thought this one played out better in my head than on paper, but there it is.

I added audio to my hurdles animation and fixed a few of the problems mentioned at the last review. So crank up the volume and prepare to enjoy an orgy of soundtacular soundtainment for your ears!...also there's video

So here's my olympic word, Hurdles. Bask in the glory of the word hurdles running over hurdles. Laugh as the heroic word is thrown for a loop. Cry as the word's hopes for glory are dashed!

1 siren, easily 2

It took me a while to get this siren looking pretty alright. Its still missing something I think. On the plus side, once I get this, it'll be easy to make a similar blue one.
